The Car!

So I got the idea that we should sale our car after hearing that small cars were in high demand. I sold the idea to John and put it on KSL right away. It took only a couple of weeks and we sold it to a cute girl in Centerville of all places. Well, the hunt was on for us and I gave John a $5,000 price cap. We decided that we would rather get a little, cheap car that we could pay off in a few months than something really nice for John. Connor would get the car in 3 years and then John would get something he really wanted.
So for 2 weeks we were a one car (van) family! It was very inconvenient and I was anxious for us to find something. For a while we would look on KSL everyday, put cars in our "Favorites", but never really settled on anything. We only had Saturday to go out and look and when we did, John would come home disappointed. John had found one and we went to the bank, got the check, but when we went to pay for it, I was looking it over and stopped the deal. It was a "restored" title and just didn't look like it had been fixed right. After more digging, we found out that the airbags had gone off and we pulled out of the deal. We just did not feel safe putting our son in a car the the airbags may or may not go off in. Especially since he will probably set them off at some point!
I decided to go look one day and found out how frustrating it was to find a NICE car for that price limit. No one takes car of their cars anymore! Or at least the ones that we looked at. I really started questioning my logic and was wising we had just kept the other car! That day I came home and up-ed the price limit and we found our car! It is perfect for what we need and the previous owner took amazing care of it. We could not be happier!
